Silt Sock

The Greentec Silt Sock is an innovative low cost sediment-trapping device manufactured with quality filter materials in order  to control water movement, minimize site wetness and reduce soil erosion. The Greentec silt sock is available in a variety of different lengths to maximize handling efficiencies, silt socks manage the storm water flow requirements of a site by diverting “clean” storm water runoff around traps or directing sediment laden water into sediment traps. These can  be positioned around a storm water drain or around the boundary of a construction site. The Greentec silt socks are an extremely effective and flexible product to prevent silt and sediment from entering waterways. Constructed from robust non-woven  geotextile filter cloth and typically filled with aggregate.
